A Special Place Overlooking the Lake

Host Cheryle made our stay most enjoyable. Her warm hospitality, kindness, and little extras ( a welcome glass of wine) and wonderful breakfasts gives this B&B a warm and personable touch. In our view, this sets its value way above any hotel. Our experience was perfect and it felt like we were at home. It was fun having those evening chats and telling stories while on the deck overlooking the lake - a fond memory that will always be cherished. Looking forward to our return visit soon, thank you again. ♥ (Sept. 26-29, 2018)

Wonderful stay!

I stayed at Cheryle and George's bed and breakfast for three nights. Their home is immaculate, very nicely decorated, and inviting. Cheryle gave me a tour of their grounds which was lovely. They have a variety of flowers and trees. My dietary restrictions were well accommodated at breakfast. I thought the wine and cheese upon arrival was a nice touch. I enjoyed my conversations with Cheryle and George. They are super hosts who will go the extra mile for their guests. In fact, I enjoyed my stay so much that I have booked myself another couple of nights!

Best B&B By Far!

Stunning views; supremely comfortable accommodation (in the Maple Room); and delightful hosts and breakfast companions! Cheryle and George – thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful home and making our stay in the Okanagan so memorable: we couldn’t have chosen a nicer place to spend that part of our return trip to BC and Alaska, after a fifteen year absence. A little piece of heaven

My husband and I have returned to the Blue Iris multiple times and have enjoyed every stay. The accommodations are more than comfortable but are over shadowed by the view from the deck and the hospitality of Cheryle and George. The breakfasts are over the top and the conversations lively. Everything about this place makes it the best of the Okanagan.

Five Plus Stars for Sure

Five Plus Stars for Sure
Our first visit to the Blue Iris. A truly exceptional experience --- including the magnificent view, the perfectly appointed house (inside and out), the delicious and healthy breakfasts, the beautiful garden, the tranquility, the warm hospitality of Cheryle and George (many laughs together), and the location (near to many wonderful Okanagan sites). Overall, we were made to feel as if we were visiting long-time friends in an outstanding setting.
Only regret is that we were unable to stay longer --- and we will fix that item on our next visit!

Great Stay

My fiancee and I had a great time at the Blue Iris. Cheryle and George created such a wonderfully hospitable and relaxing B&B. Oh, and the breakfasts were fantastic. Sourced locally, all the ingredients were fresh, and skillfully prepared by our hosts. When we decide to go back to Summerland for a visit, we will definitely look at booking the Blue Iris.

Just Gets Better

This is our 4th visit to Blue Iris and it just gets better. The food is always fresh, tasty and healthy, the room is always sparkling clean, the view is unbelievable, but best of all - George & Cheryl, innkeepers extraordinary!

We will be back!

Good times

We had a wonderful stay at Iris B&B. Besides we stunningly beautiful area of Okanagan Valley with its many and visitable vineries, our personal highlight was the stay with Cheryle and George. Our hosts received us with a warm welcome including local wine and delicious homemade cream cheese. Our lovely private ensuite room granted us all the necessary privacy in the open and welcoming home. As a perfect start of the day, our hosts served us homemade breakfast like quiche or granola every morning. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Iris B&B to any every traveller visiting Okanagan Lake.

The Best!

A glass of wine, some snacks and a pleasant hour or so of conversation with our affable hosts, Cheryle and George, comfortably sitting on their balcony with its stunning lake and mountain vistas, was the start of what would prove to be a three day visit at one of the best bed and breakfast we have ever had the pleasure to stay at.
Staying at the Blue Iris, is rather like staying with old friends. Our hosts, Cheryle and George, unlike most bed and breakfast accommodations that we've visited, not only prepared a lavish and gourmet breakfast for us, they joined us at the table.
Beautifully appointed rooms, met all your needs to make the visit pleasurable and extremely comfortable.
We thoroughly recommend the Blue Iris.
We hope that we can return next year to this Okanagan oasis.
Thanks, Cheryle and George.
